You may have noticed the blog hasn’t been updated in several weeks. This is largely because I have been very busy lately with work that keeps me off the net and I haven’t had time to chronicle every outage as I usually do. However, in the interest of fairness, the Cobalt service has been “on” and fairly steady for the past 3 weeks. While highly uncharacteristic in my experience, it is nevertheless nice for a change to actually GET what I pay for.

This blog’s traffic has really shot up over the last couple months, so its also possible that the old saying is true: ” The squeaky wheel gets the oil.”

But, before we get TOO happy, QoS is still a constant issue. The current measurement is 77%. Dropped packets still causing lots of problems with viewing streaming video and online gaming.
