Let’s see… for 13 of the last 13 days, Cobalt Broadband has provided us with speeds, uploads in particular, that nowhere near approach the definition of “broadband”. Combine that with DAILY outages of varying lengths, but typically anywhere from 1-12 hours at seemingly random times. The service was out again last night/ this morning from 2:30am – ???. And here is the current slow speed as measured at 11am Sunday by Speakeasy.net :
I tried to watch a Netflix InstantPlay movie last night. Couldn’t. Endless rebuffering and readjusting of playback quality because my “network conditions have changed”.
I tried to play a few Xbox online games. Impossible. Lag and latency were about 20x what they should have been. Was kicked out of almost every game I got in due to “your connection was lost”.
Cobalt Broadband should change its name to Cobalt Wireless Dialup.
