Shortly after all my troubles logged yesterday, the service went down AGAIN sometime around 2:30pm. I tried powering the dish on/off numerous times. No dice. After exercising an incredible amount of restraint and resisting the urge to smash their equipment into 1000 tiny pieces, I walked away. And waited. And waited. And waited. Tried a few more power resets throughout the day. Nothing. Service finally came back sometime this morning.
To borrow a phrase from our bumbling president… LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR: We have a clear line-of-sight to the tower Cobalt has their radio mounted on in Bellville. We have FULL STRENGTH signal, WHEN its working correctly. Which is not often. Distance to tower is under 5 miles. We are in a better spot and have a better install than MOST of Cobalt’s customers. I feel sorry for the rest of you, because if our problems are this bad, yours must drive you insane.
